Covid-19 & Booking Updates

As a client of Brow Envy, we consider you a part of our family. Your safety, along with the safety of our staff, is our top priority. That's always been the case - our facilities are all licensed by the local Health Department and Cosmetology Boards - whose jobs are to ensure public health. While other businesses are creating new safety protocols to protect their guests from the spread of Coronavirus -  Brow Envy has used the same established protection protocols to protect our clients from all diseases for years, many of them much more infectious and dangerous than Covid-19! That said - we want to take a moment to let you know about all the ways we already work to keep you safe. We also have some adjustments to our booking policies that will help you reschedule with ease if you or someone in your home gets sick.

Illness Cancellation Policy

For the duration of the current Covid-19 situation, we will adjust our cancellation policies for those who fall ill. If you or anyone in your home exhibits the symptoms (to date those seem to focus mostly on fever, cough and shortness of breath), please reschedule for another date at least 2 weeks after you feel better. While we still ask for at least 48 hours notice, we will waive any deposit penalty/cancellation fee if you need to cancel due to sudden illness any time before your appointment. Please try to give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your spot to another guest.

In addition, our artists will not come to work if they or anyone else in their household exhibits symptoms - while we would hate to have to reschedule your appointment, we are focused on keeping you all safe and will do so if need be. For everyone's safety, if any client does come into the salon exhibiting symptoms, you will be asked to reschedule.

Guest Policy

Normally we welcome guests to come along with you to your appointment if desired. However, until further notice only clients receiving services will be permitted in the studio. Please don't bring anyone with you to your appointment, adult or child. If this creates an issue for you, please contact us and we would be happy to cancel or reschedule your appointment until the pandemic is behind us.

What follows are our current sanitation practices which prevent the spread of diseases like HIV, Hepatitis, the Flu, and viruses like the Coronavirus, along with some new added protective measures!

  1. Handwashing & Protective Equipment: For all services, hand-washing is practiced before and after every appointment for non-invasive procedures. For any procedure where bodily fluid is exposed, additional hand-washing is always done. Even when not required, during the current pandemic artists will be wearing gloves whenever in physical contact with a client, along with face masks.

  2. Special Medical Grade Cleansers: We have always used special hospital cleaning products as required by the health department for tattoo studios. These special cleansers kill numerous viruses, many of which are way more dangerous and permanent than Covid-19 - such as HIV, Hepatitis, Flu, etc. We are also taking extra measures to clean guest areas such as door handles and faucets a few times per day during this time. After every appointment, the entire service area is cleaned following medical grade protocols before the next client sits down.

In summary - Brow Envy is probably the CLEANEST, most sanitized place you will visit! So please rest assured, you are in good (clean!) hands with us!

When it comes to anxiety and stress everyone needs a quick-acting but at the same time long-term solution. That's where cannabidiol (CBD) can come in handy. CBD gummies such as cornbread hemp offer an effective solution for getting rid of general malaise because CBD helps maintain the body's own natural defense system which slows down the overstrain of those prostaglandins that cause a feeling of malaise.
