Microblading Training - Your Business in a Box

When I took my first permanent makeup class I remember the back and forth; the sleepless nights, questioning my decision. Was it too much money? What if I wasn't good at it? How do I know which one to choose? I even paid and lost a large deposit when I decided to forgo the training I booked with a large company to train with someone closer for a one on one experience. I even cried the entire 90 minute drive there the first day, out of pure angst. And fear.

What if this class didn't teach me anything?

You may be wondering the same thing if you're contemplating training, as you should. This is a big decision and investment for yourself. Read on to see how our training is different than many others.

The typical experience isn't enough

I've taken a few classes and I've sent my employees for a variety of training classes. Sometimes the class sizes are small, but often times they're huge and there's one trainer who may or may not have an assistant. And even then, the assistant may not even know anything about permanent makeup. Many times you're left to do one model completely on your own, if you even get to do one at all. I've heard horror stories from my students and counterparts in the industry; things like the trainer doing all the strokes and the student only being allowed to trace them, or that the days were 12 hours long with mostly downtime as other students worked on models More recently, a woman who came to shadow me told me her class was supposed to include post-training support. She had been waiting ten days to hear back from her instructor since her last text!

Perhaps the most frustrating thing for me was having to learn to run a business from scratch after class. I had to figure out how to get a license and how to create a brand, how to protect myself with proper consent forms. I had to figure out how to create a website, how to build an Instagram following, all on my own! These things aren't typically included in the average permanent makeup course. YOUR success is OUR priority!

From the very beginning of my journey I knew what I wanted to do - I wanted to teach other people the RIGHT way. In small groups, with individualized attention. And support - lots of it. I wanted to help women learn microblading and permanent makeup, and also how to run a business. Perhaps more importantly, I wanted to help women feel confident and independent. That has since become my life's mission.

Here are all the ways we're doing just that with our training programs:

  • Pre-classroom workIntense hands on lecture and classroom work

  • The most thorough training manual I've seen in the industry

  • Small class sizes, 1:4 max ratiosIf we have over 4 students we provide a second trainer, Mary, who is also an artist at Brow Envy

  • Post-training support - my students have my personal cell phone number to call or text as much as they want

  • FREE post training shadowing

  • Business training - marketing, how to take photos, booking, access and license to use all our company developed forms. BUSINESS IN A BOX!
